I am Lukas. I have lived in Portugal since 2018, now with Marta and our family near Mafra and Ericeira. A love of surfing became a home, a property of our own and everyday life in Portuguese.
My professional background is in B2B sales and account management, most recently in global mobility. I also know the experience of living abroad from my time in Galicia.

Which region of Portugal would suit me?
It depends on your everyday priorities: peace or city life, housing budget, transport, health, climate and social connections. In your Reality Check, we compare suitable options and identify what you should explore in person before deciding.
Can you help outside Greater Lisbon?
Yes, with initial orientation. Our strongest local knowledge is in Greater Lisbon and along the west coast. Marta brings experience of living in the Algarve, and Lukas knows parts of the northwest. Elsewhere, we make clear where additional local expertise is needed.
Should I rent first or buy straight away?
Spending time in a place as a resident can help you assess it, ideally outside your favourite holiday season too. We organise your priorities and prepare questions for viewings. Purchase checks, property valuations and building surveys belong with suitable specialists.
What about tax and health insurance?
We help identify the questions you need to ask and suitable professionals to speak to. Individual tax implications, insurance terms and eligibility for healthcare require qualified advice. Access to medical care is part of how we approach location choices.
Could I live in Portugal for only part of the year?
We can help you explore that plan too, looking at housing, everyday life and practical arrangements. The residence, tax and insurance implications of your particular situation need individual specialist advice.
What happens in the free introductory call?
In 20–25 minutes, we discuss your situation, wishes and expectations and see whether working together makes sense. Detailed location, tax or moving advice is not part of this call. Scope and pricing for further support are agreed in advance.
How do you help with moving and settling in?
Depending on the agreed scope, we organise tasks, help prepare administrative steps, coordinate appointments and seek suitable specialist contacts. We do not provide legal, tax or insurance advice, property valuations or building surveys. Any referral compensation is disclosed.
Can I explore Portugal with you in person?
Personal discovery days and weekends are in development and are not yet available as a ready-to-book product. Mention your interest in the introductory call. We will discuss individually whether and how we can help.
